Establishment to flee! Recognitions from the backpacker guide ... how is this possible!? Arriving at the place around 1:30 p.m., we were greeted by a very unpleasant man who simply asked us to turn around because the restaurant was full... after seeing our astonishment (there were 2 of us and free tables outside and in the restaurant), finally told us that the service was over... Very good restaurant, too copied for entries, dish, dessert, cheese, coffee. menu at 22 euros! very good point of view, really disappointing. pleasant lunch in the 7th sky
We visited the Taverne on a visit to Mazamet and Hautpoul. A beautiful ancient village worth visiting. The gardens are absolute lovely. It was very quiet as it was a bit of a grey day. Maria. And the scottish lady in the taverne are both...very friendly and happy to talk to you. We only stopped for a drink but next time we will be back to sample the food as well. Don 't know what a previous reviewer 'Chris ' was expecting; perhaps gallopping wildebeest?
Warm welcome, excellent meals, magical places. Congratulations to everyone and thank you. It's over.
