This charming little restaurant is situated in the heart... read more I was in the area and decided to try something new, especially after seeing the appealing menu online. This charming little restaurant is situated in the heart of Mayslick. It was incredibly busy, so if you want to dine in, be sure to make a reservation. We opted for takeout and placed our order with the owner, who was incredibly friendly. She informed us that her husband, the co-owner, is the chef and that everything is made fresh to order. I went with the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and the shrimp and grits for my main dish. My friend ordered the fajita burger with fries and a side of Brussels sprouts. The food was outstanding—so much so that I’d gladly make the trip again. If you're nearby, this place is definitely worth a visit!

When I drove by, however, I noticed that they were actually not busy at all. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
