We had no reservation for this restaurant and although it was very busy, the participant was very friendly and we sat in a cozy dining room where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. good value for money. I can recommend this hotel/restaurant very much.

I started this page only as a review for the restaurant because we did not stay in the hotel. we went back every night for three nights. the dinner service does not begin until 6.
We were eating with our 2 sons at the zenzerwirt on Friday evening. the nice chef kellner offered us a beautiful eckish in the stubborn. another waiter took up our order, the drinks were jerking there. Unfortunately we had studied the menus too long, so we probably grew up with it. we have been treated as snippish or ignored. eating was served by 2 more, extremely polite, waiters at the same time...top. the two have also brought us the missing 2. the medaillons of my wife were perfect, the nice very good. Unfortunately, the sosse tasted a little bit like gulaschsuppe. my grill plate also had the great vegetables, the 3 pieces of meat were too dry. the steak and salate of my older sohnes was neat/prima. the children's companion of my younger sohnes was very, very small. overall, the local one left behind a growing impression. I would have liked to give 4 stars but some things when eating but above all the unharmed waiter nr. 3 have prevented this.
The zenzerwirt is for us a duty visit on every holiday and that has many good reasons!Even whatever you eat, it has really been great! started with the soups that are all always very deliciously dressed. not too strict, not too lazy, very well prepared and with a wide selection. in the main course I eat here more often the grill plate, nothing special in general, however you pay attention to details it is really good. the bark is medium, for me absolutely perfect, super delicate and good in taste. the wing is beautifully brown, slightly crispy and super delicate inside, so that you do not need a knife in part. similar is the case in the case of a pig, which is located at other places, similar to the bark, a bit too tough and shoe sols-like. not so at the zenzerwirt. you get good, non-fat-triefing pommes, nicely made vegetables and a wide selection of dips. the bachforelle was very good, the entrecote very tender, medium, with great sauce and - like all dips - nicely dressed. very recommended are also the salads, just with the sprinkled garnels an absolute narrow. who after the big portions still has space for dessert will not be disappointed here too. the apfelstrudel is super tasty, mohr in the hemd also very enjoyable and a good conclusion of the food, if there is still room for it;) in general: all the foods are even more favorable due to the amount and quality. for many years I have seen only 2 waiters at the zenzerwirt and they are both very good. courtesy, very professional, but not cold. it is not too full to have for a short chat and always very hard to do everything right. The zenzerwirt has certainly not the fullest menu of the valley, but I would make sure that you don't find anything in the (free from the memory) about 18 things. If you decide something you can be sure that you will have a great meal on the table and that at an absolutely solid price! the outside area offers a lot of space, with several people you will also be able to put tables together. there are evenings with live music in which you will be accompanied with a little folk music. only problem: it is so popular that you could have a spot just in winter. just with 4 people go out sometime the places. simply reserve it or try it spontaneously. we have already found space with 8 people in winter. everything is actually always tried to make it right to the hospitable.
