It's a steep walk up the most direct path (around 45 minutes with a 10-year old child) but there is a less severe slightly longer path that takes around 1 hour. We found the views of Mayrhofen and the valley below well worth the effort. View all feedback.
What Monia Longo doesn't like about Gasthaus Zimmereben:
Went yesterday probably picked wrong day a Sunday to take long hike up in extreme hot weather very busy with locals and rock climbers Great views though plenty benches take rest Restaurant is lovely but did take 2 hrs get cheese ham toaster kept forgetting us Would go back but not at weekend View all feedback.
Great view over Mayrhofen! A pretty hard trail leads to this gem. Don't just put up sandals! The Schitzel in this place was 5/5 and service was really fast and friendly.
After a long time with Kovid we decided to hike in Austria, some cheap holidays after a long time. After a few days I came to this restaurant. I and my husband took Radlers and asked what they recomend us. LUCIA has told us that we take the menu and have a look. Thank you. After consideration we chose schnitzel because we think it is typical Austrian, it is a pity that we have not read about Austria anymore. Helpful staff in rooms has disappeared. We didn't even get a drink, we probably won't go every day, so she didn't see it as an important THING. It could be okay. At the GB we also get in touch with annoying employees. The worst was when we paid for our food, the waitress was in a hurry to another table, so she gave us almost 20 € less!! Unfortunately, we only recognized it the next day at lunch. It doesn't matter, we found out that we don't go into the room anymore, an unpleasant, arrogant waitress who is interested in serving people who already know them and packed all inklets. Stunning. This was the worst experience with our entire holiday, Austria is a beautiful country and we look forward to seeing more. But not this restaurant.
To this cottage from the top of the Whitsun can be a bit of a hike, but it is worth it. The food is great and the view is a view of the Mayrhofen
This was our fourth summer holiday in Mayrhofen and our visits to Zimmereben were a highlight in every holiday. A hard 40-minute walk is worth every step when you reach the rooms, where you will be greeted with a smile and magnificent view over the city below. You feel like you deserve your cold cyclist (which is difficult not to pamper him in one) and especially your free composite brand before you can order your cold beer to enjoy and enjoy the moment.
First time I have been to this place you can climb or walk to this place and the view is great the food is very good
