For an extremely picky eater, this was the ONLY new place I've tried that didn’t disappoint. The staff were so friendly and kind. Had satay skewers, prawn green curry, and eds watermelon martini. We discovered a very reasonable early bird menu with a great selection. Both the starter and the main course were fantastic—full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. However, the desserts were disappointing and didn't match the quality of the previous courses. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Red Torch Ginger, and I will definitely be back very soon!

I’m deducting one star from my review (or I would have deducted half a star if that were an option) because a 10% service charge was automatically added. I didn't think this was appropriate, especially since it was for four adults and one child. Afterward, I looked at the menu, which noted that a service charge applies for groups of seven or more. While the total aligned with what we would have tipped anyway, I prefer to have the option to decide my own tip rather than being automatically charged.

Based on those experiences, I booked a Christmas party for 18 people on December 15th. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent, with the staff being as friendly as ever. The atmosphere was festive, and everyone had a wonderful time. A special thanks to Eamonn and his team for making the night so great. I highly recommend RTG and will definitely return!
