Group of 12 went here 2 days ago, for lunch after a Christening. The place is beautiful when you walk in. Lovely outdoor area too. Staff were lovely, food was delicious. Was still enough, but picked as mid-afternoon came round. The food really is incredible. I had the soup for starters, burger for main, and the chocolate brownie for dessert. This restaurant has great atmosphere, but unfortunately falls short in food. We were disappointed in the very thick, floury seafood chowder. It had a film of butter on top that was too much. The service was slow but friendly. Would not return.
I went here for the first time ever for a date night it was absolutely from start to finish! The atmosphere was cosy warm, we had a 3 course and it was amazingly delicious I haven't been able to finish every meal from a 3 course in a long, long time! Have to compliment especially the sticky toffee pudding, it was to die for
