Good food & friendly service - went on a Saturday night with friends. Highly recommended - exceeded my expectations! Dessert icecream - mango & pistacchio were both yummy! Decor & atmosphere charming - surprisingly good value! View all feedback.
What Kailyn Heller doesn't like about Tandoori Bros:
We placed a order to pick up first time we have tried here when my husband went to pick up order he was told there was no beef!!(bit surprising seeing it was early sat night?) so I had the goat. The starters we didn't finish! My goat was all bone and what little meat was very chewy. It was very disappointing as we were looking forward to trying some where new for a change for a Indian meal but we wont be back & if any... Fantastic food and decor, highly recommended, best and quality food in Adelaide situated on Magill road, Maylands, for any kind of occasions best in town.....

I've been to many Indian restaurants with mixed results but the new Tandoori Bros on Magill Road is a real winner.

We purchased a Scoopon to try out this restaurant. It took 3 attempts to finally dine there. The first time we booked they texted back within hours to say that they were closing for 'technical reasons'. We re-booked for a few days later, but when we went there they were closed. I'd normally give up at that point, but we had pre-paid so we persevered, and some ten days later we actually got to dine there. The next disappointment was that the selection of dishes was more limited than stated in their on-line ad. I understand the need for a limited menu on a deal like this, but they should at least be honest. We both ordered the vegetable pakoras for entrees - they were more like overcooked potato patties and had minimal spices. The two curries we had for mains (chicken chettinad & lamb do piaza) were more gravy than meat and were watery and barely lukewarm, obviously pre-prepared and reheated. The lamb was poor quality meat, but the chicken dish was quite pleasant apart from not being hot enough. Dessert servings were insultingly small, with the single gulab jamun being not much bigger than a marble.Service was friendly, although it could have been more efficient.Note that this restaurant now trades as Maylands Kitchen. Curiously they still have Tandoori Bros written on their menus. I'm not sure what's going on here, and from the poor customer communications and sub-standard meals I don't think they do either!I presume they are using Scoopons as a way to build up new clientele. If so, they are going about it the wrong way. We'll certainly be looking elsewhere the next time we heading out for a curry.
