The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, with a unique layout that adds to its charm. Despite some issues with service, such as long wait times, the overall experience is positive. The cafe also features a family room with toys for kids, a back porch for dogs, and a variety of menu options to suit different tastes. With good coffee, yummy food, and a relaxed ambiance, Steam Haus is a great addition to the neighborhood.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is delightful, and the coffee is top-notch. It's a great spot for meeting up with friends. The children's playroom is a big hit with us. The cafe is split into multiple rooms and even has a patio out back. If street parking is full, there is parking available behind the cafe. I indulged in an iced coffee, their homemade cookie, and a berry muffin, but I plan to try their hot meals on my next visit.
I love Steam Haus. Very nice atmosphere, spacious and there’s always lovely flowers on the table. My coffee is always great here and the egg Benedict is just how I like it
Amazing service!! Always friendly a place they remember your orders! The food is beautiful homemade and great prices. Coffee is like a coffee should be, the sausage rolls are a must .
When you place your order, you will be asked if you have any intolerances or are coeliac. The restaurant makes a conscious effort to reduce cross contamination. However, this is not my top choice for breakfast on the Whatley strip because the bread they serve is white and overly sweet.
I have been to this restaurant many times and have never gotten sick. Make sure to request that your toast be cooked separately if you have celiac disease.
