The interior layout is reasonably spacious and the s... read more The Cafe has a vintage decor with a very comforting ambience, there is nothing pretentious or overly fancy. The interior layout is reasonably spacious and the service was prompt and efficient.<br/ <br/ Food wise it was excellent. I had the pulled pork on cornbread with poached eggs. Note the portion was deceptively large, and it took some serious effort to finish this calori-rich meal. My body has to do some serious work to digest this meal, 4 hours later I'm still feeling rather full.<br/ <br/ The pulled pork was generous in portion, tender, and the eggs were poached perfectly. The cornbread itself felt a little dense but delicious nonetheless.<br/ <br/ Being so close to home this seems like a great little spot for the casual lunch. I do look forward to coming back and trying a few more dishes.

We took mum and a friend for lunch on a Monday and loved the decor and the menus (trip down memory lane) and the dinnerware.The staff were very friendly and acc... read more We took mum and a friend for lunch on a Monday and loved the decor and the menus (trip down memory lane) and the dinnerware.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.  We had the toasty with mushrooms on the side and the others had herb mushrooms on toast.  Everything was very tasty.The coffee and little lemon cake were yum.
