I was going to get something from the glass cabinet for my dinner however upon approach I spotted two large flies buzzing around the food inside, oh my :( big.turn.off. I did notice when I walked in it felt a bit ''grotty'' and needs a bit of a clean, I don't know if this is the feel they are going for - you know that dingy, grungy, old school 70/80's caff or if it was the afternoon (and cleaning will be later). There is another place in Mayland''S'' that I will frequent more often now that I have compared the two.

Although we have tried other caffes for our Saturday morning breakfast, milk’d has remained our favorite in the last 11 plus years. we have constantly received... read more Although we have tried other caffes for our Saturday morning breakfast, milk’d has remained our favorite in the last 11 plus years. we have constantly received a warm, friendly and fast service from the hard workers and the unpredictable mood of the place is refreshing. in the last months we even enjoyed more tasty and beautiful presented breakfasts from the new Saturday morning cook. I hope she will stay there for the next 11 years!

I'm downhill. we often came to the breakfast and it was a busy popular café. the caffe has now changed the hands. during this visit it was dirty that there was... read more I'm downhill. we often came to the breakfast and it was a busy popular café. the caffe has now changed the hands. during this visit it was dirty that there was in the corner dead flying (not on the floor, on the bank in...plain look,) the kisses on the buffet seat are badly stained and have to change the table when we arrived had not been cleaned and there were eating shakes over everything that had been left there and dried, although there was only a few other mozens busy in caffe. when we asked that it should be cleaned (what we do not have to do) the worker went on and sprayed a cleansing substance everywhere, including on us and our coffee (which sat on the table) then wiped the table. this should not be done, it is not safe to clean chemicals around food or beverages. these new employees need more training and the caffe needs good cleaning and a renovation.
