And that's why I didn't patronize... read more I've always been suspicious of Chinese owners trying to pass of as Japanese and selling Japanese fare that is very sino-ized. And that's why I didn't patronize this place earlier for years. Recently with the rain pelting down I went in to eat and was very pleasantly surprised and ended up kicking myself. It's Japanese-run and I liked the Chicken Katsu-don. Will give the ramen a try next.

I really like the friendly staff, especially the busy chef hidden in the kitchen but always takes his time to say thank you to every single customer when they leave.

My current favourite is the Tom Yam Udon Noddle Soup the chef listens when I asked for it to be spicy! Very well priced, with generous servings.
