The menu offers a wide variety of options, including Turkish and Lebanese specialties. While some dishes could be improved, the overall dining experience is enjoyable. Customers appreciate the generous portions and complimentary offerings like bread and Turkish tea. The ambience is cheerful and the location is convenient. What Elephant Estates dislikes about Sofra:
Its ok for some basic food i guess but is quite over priced for what it is youre certainly paying for location. The Turkish wine and the bread are really good i must say! Staff arent great, apart from the 2 who i assume are the owners. The rest of the staff dont seem to understand a word of English. Not bad, not great, its ok. View all feedback.

Had a wonderful dinner at Sofra, friendly, helpful staff, great menu, food served quickly, nicely presented and all tasted very good.
My daughter's 11th birthday, a wonderful evening with delicious food and great service. We ate there three times during our 9 days in London and it was excellent every time!

The food was very average and I wouldn’t wholeheartedly say it was very fresh. The water was tepid we had to ask for ice and despite several frantic waiters dashing about, you can only place your order through the manager. There is a service charge and you get a bland complimentary hummus and bread which was quite liquid and oily. My friend has the chicken and rice and I had the lamb/beef mince wrap that was drenched in sauce and quite limp salad. The chips were quite disappointing as they build them as being exquisite on the menu! Would we return, probably not it’s more aimed at the clientele that live locally.
In my opinion, it is not the old table. The food and service has gone down a lot. The place I have been coming to for years is Sofra, but this time it was in the classroom. While waiting for the bill, 4 people at the table drank the tea, 2 people drank the tea, I left it behind. Why do you charge 4 people to pay for the tea? Anyway, Mr. Ozer, Sofra is Turkish hospitality in London. It used to show, but the place has changed over time...

My friend and I found Sofra by chance while strolling around the neighborhood looking for somewhere to eat. I’m very happy to say that, for the first time in London, I came across a genuinely authentic Turkish restaurant experience. It wasn’t just the food which was excellent (the manti was the best we’ve had in the UK so far) but also the hospitality. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were back in Turkey. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly genuine. We’ll definitely be coming back.
A regular lunch spot for me be it for business or pleasure. Everything I've tried on the menu has been amazing. Complimented by the attentive staff. It's a little sun trap and a great place to people watch in Shepherds Market.
We saw this place was busy as we walked by and asked if there was a table for 3, no booking had been made. They seated us quickly, served us and provided our meals in good time, no rush and no long wait. The portions were generous, well cooked and presented. We enjoyed our time there.
As a Turkish person, I can say that Sofra is the best place you can enjoy a large variety of traditional food. From the starters to special meat dishes everything was amazing. I had the best sleep in a while afterwards. And of course the warm hospitality makes the whole experience more memorable. Thanks to whole team! Looking forward to coming soon!

Here twice and really enjoyed their food. careful selection of middle eastern and Turkish foods, generous amount of protein and juicy well marinated kebabs..my only commentary is size of tables...all great opportunity experience.
Very tasty Turkish restaurant in london. ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I am a favorite place in both breakfast and dinner. For those who don’t know, the table becomes a long queue in one of the most famous londra restaurants, this is not very common. As people like domestic bread queues successfully represent Turkish cuisine, they look at a big money on the table. The prices are worth when there is a bit high. Flavor:5, quality/price:5/5
Another good food outlet at St Christophers place. Primarily Turkish and Lebanese dishes but you can get a few Continental ones too. The mezzes, kekabs are quite authentic although not top class. The Sea food is good with prawns squid etc being quite popular after observing the neighbouring table orders. The kekabs I found a bit oily but within limits. Salads are refreshing and you have a fair choice available..Turkish tea is getting popular so try it with the meal or afterwards. Desserts have a limited choice but you can try some of the mid east sweets( very sweet) if you have a sweet tooth. !! The ambience is cheerful and the place is pretty full at most times particularily if you want to sit outside. Service is attentive and efficient.

I stopped by and made a reservation at this restaurant because it looked nice, although the person taking my booking seemed to give me a judgmental look as if to assess my ability to afford it. However, when I returned at the reserved time, I was seated at a nice table among other diners who were already eating. The menu was good and we easily chose our dishes. The neighboring tables did not seem very friendly, probably because many of them were wealthy locals. The food was very good and the staff was attentive. The wine was a bit pricey for my taste, but considering the location in Mayfair, it was to be expected. Conveniently located near the Hilton, this restaurant saved us from having to trek into the West End for dinner.
On a chilly evening, I was out with my two-year-old son. The waiter insisted that we sit outside, but I explained that I couldn't because of my young child.
We had a great experience at this local spot in Mayfair with fantastic service. The area is lively and perfect for when the weather is less than ideal. This was our second visit and the food was consistently good. Cheers!
The worst service ever experienced in over 50 years. While seated one of the staff managers were screaming constantly. When we placed the order we waited more than 15 minutes while other tables arrived after had their food served. When the food arrived 2 were missing items and one was wrong. We asked the waiter 3 times before the missing items arrived by which time we had nearly finished the meal. When the bill was presented we asked for the service charge (opitional) to be removed as both the service and attention had been poor. The manager/owner was so rude and direct we then said he was going to charge for the complimentary bread!! I lost it.He should not be in the industry and I am escalating the matter to the westminsiter council as he was fooling people I am not a tourist as many where I live here.

We walked into what we thought was a lovely establishment, but left speechless about the exorbitant prices. Honestly, I’m not sure how this level of robbery is even legal. We ordered 3 starters for 10 pounds each and received what appeared to be a sample size of food… Not to mention we were charged 5 pounds for a coke! If the restaurant made up for the prices in its other aspects this would be (somewhat) justified, but the service from some people was questionable. One of the servers was quite distasteful and although no rude comments were directly said, his expressions and body language was enough. We ordered little as we were not too hungry, and while ordering I felt like he pierced my soul with his eyes and was almost pressured to order more than I wanted. Their food was okay, so if you’re looking for a solid Mediterranean place it isn’t too bad, unless you expect basic customer service. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Time passes, but this place never disappoints. The quality is just as excellent as it’s always been. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
