It was our anniversary, and my partner, who is a seasoned sailor, stopped in Mayerthorpe for the night. I visited the Crocket House Cafe and spoke with a lovely woman named Alana. She prepared a delightful surprise for him to enjoy when he woke up, even creating a small anniversary card. On top of that, the delicious lunch was beautifully packed. I stopped in to pick up a latte. I said a couple of comments to the red headed lady making my coffee. She ignored me completely.The to go cups and lids smell very musty. They must be stored in a damp basement.Go to Tim Horton the staff is much more pleasant. And the coffee cups do not have a musty smell. View all feedback.
Great place. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff were pleasant. Food was very tasty, also couldn't resist fresh cinnamon room. Yummy
Awesome little cafe! I love the look and feel of the interior. Coffee was good, but I wished that they had cinnamon buns, as I had a severe craving.
