We have visited this for many years as couples as well as solo groups and are disappointed NIE. Every item of food, drinks and friendly service make this an absolute must visit We do not believe that the employees really believe we are happy to drive only 450 miles to enjoy one of their excellent house steaks, but we do!

They were fully... read more My husband and I decided to spend a weekend in the region and after the positive reviews we decided to try this place. The service was perfect. They were fully booked for the evening, but they went out their way to make room for us, and were always really friendly. We sung out on the market street and it was nice to see how people come and go. Many of the other customers were local regular, also a very good sign! And the food: excellent! The absolutely best sülze I tried in Germany! And beautiful local wine to go with it: So in the end, well earned 5 stars!

The local food is excellent, the volcano beer is great and I spent a great night here again. The staff is helpful and polite and the kitchen... perfect for local dishes. Your menu includes seasonal dishes as well as Eifel classics and I really recommend eating there. But be aware of the need to reserve a table in advance. Because it is scenic, it is always almost completely booked.
