Rang reception when arrived as they were out, the lady was angry at us for ringing as she would only be half an hour which should have raised alarm bells, but she grumbled to us where we could find our key so we excitedly entered our stay. Mold in spa, sticky floors, dirty cutlery and the worst mattress we have ever slept on.. the restaurant was under maintenance and closed (the only reason why we picked to stay here... Beautiful stay, although it was only for one night. caretaker helped us with all the accusations we had and was very willing to assist us in everything we need! place was very clean, except for some kitchen utensils, but nurses very quickly cleaned and the utensils for us changed! room: 4/5 service: 5/5 location: 4/5 .more
Absolute magie! the cottages are beautiful, clean and cozy, and the owners are welcoming and full of knowing in the local environment. the perfect starting point for the exploration of the wilderness of tasmania in the southwest! we are happy to come back in future!
Room is clean and spacious for two (can fit 5pax), The surrounding area is quite scenic with ponds. This was our first stop of Tassie road trip and we chose this place hoping to spot platypus in the wild, of which we did though just one, and at a far distance.
