What jeremy doesn't like about Maxwell Inn:
If you don't mind paying $6 a beer or damn close to itand eating food cooked by somebody who turned their own restaurant into a cockroach infested dump then this is your restaurant I've read the reviews andwonder how much they had to pay their employees to write these reviews for them View all feedback.
This restaurant offers a pleasant experience, especially since it wasn't crowded during our visit, allowing for prompt service. The building is charming and historic, though parking is somewhat limited and primarily located in the back. The spacious dining area lets you enjoy your meal away from the noise of the bar. If you're a sports fan, you'll appreciate the numerous TVs showing games. We tried the cheese curds and potato skins, and I ordered the grilled salmon, which was delicious. The menu features a wide variety of options to choose from.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The service was excellent, and the interior was very charming.
Vegetarian options: They are happy to accommodate your needs. Parking: Parking isn't an issue at all!

Initially, there were two waitresses, but after a while, I’m not sure what happened to them. We managed to get our drinks and eventually placed our food order, but the service was lacking. Our meals came out one by one, and it appeared that we were only offered one opportunity for soda refills, which was disappointing. Only one person out of our group of five received a refill, and that was only because they specifically asked for it when their food arrived. Even with only one customer at the bar and another table occupied, we saw little of our waitress. The other waitress seemed to be focused solely on the other table, consistently walking by us without acknowledging our presence. Our attempts to get assistance went unnoticed, and we felt completely ignored. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were small—our fries were barely a quarter of what you would typically expect, and the roasted turkey sandwich contained just three pieces of what appeared to be packaged turkey meat, definitely not freshly roasted. I can't help but wonder if there is a new cook. We ended up having to ask for our bill, and when we finally received it, the waitress told us to bring it to her at the register, despite there being only one gentleman at the bar. Overall, we were very disappointed, as this was our go-to spot for both great service and food. I sincerely hope this isn’t the new standard for this restaurant.
