Sue's Cafe - Maurepas

The shrimp soup was made with a thickened sauce, whole grains, and a hint of spice. It should come with a side of green salad or potato salad for the price, like the seafood gumbo does. My friend enjoyed the cheeseburger. The fried pickles were outstanding! The cherry milkshake was the best I've had in years. The sauce in the soup was perfect, but it could use a little more spice, maybe some paprika.

I have visited this restaurant twice and both times the food was excellent. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable.

This place has been my way for many years. they have a to go, go up windows inside and outside along with a stay in them car and drive through windows or they could go to have a seat and eat. I love eating, but I'm not one for shrimp/seafood boxes, so I don't know about it. but the huh, burger, clubsandwiches and roast beef pboys are so good. my only swallow with this place is the price, they are something on the high side.

The portion sizes are disappointingly small for the price of $13. I received only 4 shrimp, 2 small pieces of fish, a small portion of fries, a small amount of salad, and a tiny slice of toast. The salad and fries were so small that they didn't even fill up the side slots in a takeout box. The only reason I am giving this restaurant a 2-star review is because the lady at the window was nice and the food tasted somewhat decent. It took 45 minutes to receive my food, which is unacceptable considering the portion size. I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant unless you have a very small appetite.

We absolutely love the food and atmosphere here and so do our grown kids and gbabies
