Low Country Shrimper - Mauldin

During my visit to Greenville, near Washington D.C., a friend and I stumbled upon a seafood restaurant called Low Country Shrimper. I was intrigued by the name, as I am originally from the low country of South Carolina, so I was eager to see what they had to offer. To my surprise, the food was fantastic and the service was great. It was even more surprising to learn that the owner is a 30-year-old friend whom I hadn't seen since 1993. We had a wonderful time catching up and it was a pleasure to watch him go from table to table in the restaurant, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of.

Definitely recommend this restaurant next to Charleston Seafood! The young man serving us was very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be returning.

Some friends took us to this restaurant. It was a great place with wonderful service. We really enjoyed our experience.

My husband and I was visiting from Charleston for a church conference and was looking for some good seafood for lunch. Upon pulling up I was hesitant about eating here so my husband went in to check it out. I'm glad we decided to eat here because it's a black owned family business. We both had the shrimp platter. Everything we had was good except for their red rice. It was a little too mushy for us. The manager went to each table asking how we were doing before getting our food and checking on us after receiving our food. Such great customer service!! Thanks for a pleasant visit.
