My sister and i took our dad there for lunch. It was for his 95th birthday. The darling waitress brought him a brownie ice cream dessert! The oysters were delicious. Raw, and grilled!!! His fish and chips were delicious! You made a great time for the birthday boy!!!

Food was outstanding! Fresh! Delicious! Beautiful presentation! Sadly, our waitress, Sonia, was subpar...she did not check back with us once our order was taken. We had to request water refills, napkins and additional silverware from other servers. Sonia overall seemed put out by us, not a warm and friendly person. The valet parking and entrance/exit area was very chaotic! People were blocking the sidewalk entrance as they waited for their cars. Lots of confusion re: who was coming, going or waiting. This needs to be much more organized! Definitely, no complaints about the food, just the service and parking. It was over an 1-1/2 drive for us from Manchester, CT and this was our first dining experience at The Matunuck Oyster Bar. Not sure we will make the trip again...

Food was delicious. We were on the rooftop, so it was quiet, and the view was beautiful.

This place largely lived up to its impressive reputation. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The place is loud, buzzing and crowded so this isn't a quaint, quiet date night. But it's top notch all around so you can't go wrong.

This might be a 4 star for the area. I’m not from here. But the food was only ok and the service was slow. Here are some of the plates and ratings for what we had: Oysters were very good Blackened Tuna Rare. Good. Have had better Steak. Good Pasta with clams. Ok Steamers. Lacked flavor RI chowder Ok Also thought they could have brought bread out earlier which would have helped kids with something while waiting for the dinner. Servers were very nice. Staff overall was great.
