We visited on a very busy weekend. They were short staffed for such a big weekend for that area. We opted for the breakfast buffet.This is our favorite place to visit when we are in the area. We went at noon, so naturally, they were busy. The friendly, very hard-working server informed us of new computers being installed. About 30 minutes later, our order came out incorrect. Very fortunately, the correction was simple and didn't require anything to go back to the kitchen. Western omlets are plentiful with chunky grilled filling. I travel to Mattoon 2 or 3 times a year on business. In my company making time to stop at Hubbartt's for either breakfast or lunch is a rule. Kind people, comfortable dining, and great food.

We stopped here to visit downtown Mattoon and tried this place. It’s really cute inside and it appeared to be a favorite to the locals as lots of people were coming in. The waitress was really nice. The menu is filled with lots of options and we loved that they had healthy options. I had an omelet that I chose the ingredients for and my husband had a western omelet. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. Thank you for giving us a great start to our weekend. Next time we are out this way we will stop back. Wishing you much continued success with your business.
The best breakfast in Mattoon!! ?? Their omelettes are amazing and this is crazy, but they have the BEST English Muffin Ever!! ?
