What Brian c doesn't like about Sicilian Pizza Pasta:
The pizza at this place is awesome but the way you're treated when you're there makes it impossible to go back. It's like I'm offending them by trying to buy their pizza. Tonight I came in 2 hours before they're are supposed to be closing and they were out of a few things. No problem, not a big deal. When I asked what they were out of, to make it easier to order, the guy was all upset and seemingly pissed, as if I sh... View all feedback.
I've walked past this place numerous times without giving it much thought, but I had no idea it would be this good! They offer a set menu featuring a wide variety of pizza options, although they serve whole pies rather than slices. Each pizza is freshly made in a wood-fired oven in about 8 minutes, and that wood fire really adds a unique flavor. I've tried many pizza places in Brooklyn, including the famous L&B, but Pizza Rita is definitely one of my top choices, especially in Mattituck. It’s a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. I highly recommend you give them a try and see for yourself. The atmosphere is great, and the owner is very friendly.
We were really pleased to discover this little gem for lunch! The chef is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. They serve unique pies straight from a wood-fired oven. While the ambiance may be minimal, it is more than compensated for by the delicious flavors and charming atmosphere. They don’t offer slices; each pie is meant to serve two, or you can order one for yourself.
Ate here yesterday. The pizza was magnifico. I’ve eaten several times at Razza in Jersey City. This place is as good or better without the hype and the crowd.
This place is amazing! The pizza is not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious! The guy behind the counter may look a bit sweaty and worn out, but his pizza truly does the talking! He takes pride in his work and is a real artist! I only get to visit a few times a year, but I always make it a point to stop and eat here! I wish I could enjoy his pizza in Queens!
Tucked in a strip center is the most delicious pizza made in a wood burning oven. We had the Camolo and the Margherite. My daughter said it was the best pizza she's ever had (and she eats a lot of pizza! . She wants to make it a tradition to stop whenever we go out east. Ha! The crust is soft and pillowy (not thick and doughy , but a little crunchy where it has been cooked by the fire. Mmmm so so good! We chatted with the owner who is really nice and a trained chef. Be sure to check their weekly schedule which is subject to change if he's working an event.
