Back to this charming place, after a positive experience in the past. The venue got more elegant since our last vist, the food offered was well presented. The antipasto was very delicious and fresh, the selection of drinks is really great. The owners made us feel home. The olive trees and the sea in front top up the stay at Panta Rei. A must stop if you're in the area!

Lovely diners two nights in a row. Sea Bass was delicious and purely prepared. Hosts of the restaurant were friendly.

Panta Rei is a family-run restaurant right by the beach in Mattinata. Apart from the stunning view and the delicious food, the service, done almost exclusively by members of the family themselves, deserves the biggest praise. The restaurant is open from morning to late in the evening and is a mixture of a comfy beach bar at midday and a charming Italian restaurant in the evening. No matter when you come to stay at this restaurant you will feel greatly welcomed. Whether you order a simple ice cream at day or fish baked in salt at night, Customer is King seems to be written in capital letters in this restaurant. The food (dinner): I ate dinner three times and ordered something different each time as I wanted to try different dishes off the menu. The restaurant has more seafood to offer than not, however, even as a non-seafood-consumer, you will be able to order delicous food. The restaurant also uses ingredients out of their own garden for some of their dishes and beverages. You can enjoy the taste of it while you savor your food or drink. As for their beverages, they have to offer a lot. They have a grand wine card and they have a wide range range of exquisite spirits like gin, whiskey and scotch. All in all, I can 't recommend this family-run business enough. If you want to enjoy a week in Gargano right by the beach and have a nice dinner every now and then, this is the right place for you.

Perfect location, perfect and friendly staff and perfect delicious dish. There is no better place at the beach of mattinata. Simply: alla grande!
