This is THE BEST Chinese take out!!!! It is Family run and the owners are in the kitchen making sure each dish is delicious. Their shrimp lobster sauce is fantastic and the shrimp are perfectly cooked. Egg rolls are great the lomein is done really good. The service is fast and the prices are good. What Celia C doesn't like about China Cafe:
Their quality has changed. I used to love their steamed dumplings very legit dipping sauce (I can cook the stuff on my own but sooo much work). This last time I got it the sauce was ok but the dumplings were just not the same. Bummer. Of course prices have gone up, so paying more for a lesser taste experience is not a win in my book. Reasonably priced Chinese takeout. China Cafe never disappoints with quality and quantity. We have been going there for years and recommend them.
The food is always hot and good and ready when I get there. Clean restaurant. Girl at front register is always a pleasure. Two thumbs up!!
Love this place! Best Chinese carry out in the Matthews/Mint Hill area, by far. Staff are friendly, fun and remember their regulars. I wish I could stop by more often, but it's a little out of the way for us. Try the pan-fried wonton in garlic sauce appetizer, if you like spicy.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in a 15 mile area. I've been coming here almost 3 years. Staff is always immediately responsive and take care of any need you have. Any of the bad reviews are probably just bad orders. I've never had a problem with them... I'm extremely picky... I deal with top estates with 5 families in Charlotte. They've never failed us on delivery or quality and that's all that matters to us. Love you gals and guys keep it up. You always have our business.
