The restr... read more The only positive feedback I can give about my visit to this restaurant is that our waitress was excellent. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The restroom was in a deplorable state—sticky and covered in urine, with toilet paper strewn everywhere. There was even a stream of urine running from the front of the toilet to the drain in the middle of the stall. I’ve felt cleaner in my chicken coop. While the appetizers were decent, my main course was a disappointment. The chicken seemed undercooked or perhaps not even real. The onions and mushrooms had an unpleasant taste, the steamed broccoli was far from fresh, and my drink had floating bits in it. I’m not sure if it was just an off night for them, but I personally won’t be returning. In fact, during dinner, I started to feel unwell from the food, to the point where I didn’t even want to take home any leftovers.

The service is consistently quite good, and the food was decent. One person said hello and later found out he said we wi... read more I traveled from Nj to visit with my fiancé and our son. I stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged. One person said hello and later found out he said we will be with you but I barely heard him. I thought he was a food runner or a person who cleared tables by his uniform. But for the fact I want to give respect (I will say she) the bartender watched me looking for help but didn’t respond until I was surrounded by HER coworkers and very rudely stated I was just going to have to wait when I was already talking to the manager with locs. When I explained my problem was I wasn’t acknowledged for 15 min and now being surrounded by men. A slim male server then told me I would have to wait 25 min to be seated with plenty of tables available. However the woman waiting with her birthday party told me they were told a 10 min wait about 10 min into my wait. I felt hostility because I voiced myself. I’m a head chef and manager for well over a decade at 3 restaurants and totally understand the dinner slam and I felt I was very patient. I personally have to cook , plate, serve, host and clean not only my dishes but the customers also by myself . I could’ve been sat and had some drinks while I waited for the kitchen to be reset. But the attitude of the server and bartender made me so uncomfortable I didn’t think my food would be handled with care I eventually went across the street and got sat immediately with amazing service. This place that had way more people in it. I’m weary of going out to eat for this exact reason. But I was ok with it because the southerners were like fresh air except here. I won’t be returning but I wanted to let my experience be known.
