What User doesn't like about Red Lobster Matteson:
We waited nearly two hours for our food, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. To make matters worse, my husband found long strands of hair mixed in with his pasta. Yuck! It turned out to be a disappointing Father's Day meal. View all feedback.
The service was good, and the ambiance was excellent! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Dirty floors was a bug in my Martini…they simply took it off the bill no apology or compensation
I expected that since I made a reservation for 5 PM, my table would be ready when I arrived around 4:50 PM. However, I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for a table. What’s the point of a reservation if you can’t get seated for 30 to 45 minutes? It feels pointless, and I believe you shouldn’t use OpenTable if this is the case.
We had a reservation when trying to give reservation no. We were told 10-15 min wait even thou we had a reservation. So we sat in the bar and everything went better from their.
Really hate to leave such a bad review during these times but the service was not good. The waiter incorrectly memorized our orders. Upon delivery of the food, he was reminded about the order and was upset (with us) that he remembered it incorrectly. We never received one part of the order. We hadn't seen him in 30 minutes so we asked another waitress where he was. She said she was taking care of us because he had to make drinks. We told her about the missing parts of the order. She only fixed half of it...we got one thing but not the other only after we had finished eating. We ended up having to ask the hostess for our check and then we saw our original waiter again. The really sad part is that it wasn't crowded and there were many empty tables. And, there were no apologies at all. My husband felt obligated to leave a tip but not our customary 20%.
