Not recommended for individuals with gluten intolerance, as the owner has stated that they do not plan to make any accommodations due to their reliance on traditional recipes. Other chip stands in town do offer gluten-free options. View all feedback.

Without a doubt, these are my favorite fries and poutines anywhere. When you pass through Mattawa, be sure to take a short walk downtown to grab some fries.
The fries are excellent, and the poutine is superbly crafted. The service is friendly as well.
Poutine is one of the best I've had. Great job on the whole setup, nice atmosphere.
Wonderful, family owned business in Mattawa. Original chip stand still stands and you can learn some of the history of the place while you wait for your order. All items were cooked fresh while we waited. Atmosphere is comfortable and well appointed with lots of places to relax in the shade while you wait. There’s also an area designed for kids. 10/10 would go here again.
