This place has an outstanding vibe and could easily be rated 5 stars. The people there are really friendly but the service is super slow to nearly non existent. We had to bus our own table and it took forever to get our food.Ordered the gizzards as the waitress said everybody loved them All 6 of us tried them and thought they were terrible.I had the halibut it was good but the breading was very dark. I love eating here my vater works here that is ingenious the fries are to die for! the hamburgers are my favorite and the sandwiches are also delicious I love this place so much!
I've been in the night for over a year and I'm glad I did. the menu is amazing and I could say that it uses qualitatiw high quality ingredients. I had the bleu cheese burger. the quality of the cheese was shown in every bite. I tried the mushroom soup and it was also rich and tasteful. if they want mattawa to have a good bar and good food, they do not see the place r is the place.
It is always a pleasure stopping in at R Place for a great meal, a cold beer and great service!
