However, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the interior was and how friendly the staff were. After I asked them not to call me "sir" (a term I really dislike), they became quite personable. As with any Wetherspoons, you know what to expect. The TV is always on with subtitles, the food is consistent with what you find at other locations—unremarkable but perfectly acceptable—and the beer prices are the best in the area. Additionally, they offer free WiFi, which is always a plus. Overall, it's a typical Wetherspoons, so you know what you’re getting: a standard pub experience. It may be a bit boring, but it’s still pleasant.
