Unfortunately, our fish was overcooked, but when I spoke to the staff about it, they received the feedback positively and prepared a new, higher-quality dish for us. It's also conveniently located right across from the park and the center.

The prices were reasonable, and it came with a lovely cup of tea. The staff were fantastic—helpful and friendly. There’s a note on the wall mentioning that the business was established in 1930. They offer other food options too, but the fish and chips are truly unforgettable.

The homemade chips were golden, hot, and incredibly tasty. The mushy peas were delightful as well. My partner ordered the small fish with chips, mushy peas, and curry sauce, and he enjoyed every bit of it—great portion size and excellent value for money. Our server, Sky, was outstanding and comes highly recommended!
