I had read the detailed review of Sneha MS and was impressed by the contents. Suffice it to say that we had a very good experience. The quality of the batata vada was very good as the stuffing was fresh. The elaichi tea was also good, however, they do not have ginger tea which was a disappointment. It is a unique experience to have such snacks in the open air environment amidst unpolluted natural surroundings, always preferable over any indoors restaurant. One has to walk for about 12-14 min. from the Dasturi entry point along the rly. tracks to reach here.

This place also serves Maggie (vegetable/cheese/masala/butter), fresh lime juice, special masala tea, Vada plate. You get cold drinks and packaged drinking water here. Every Vada they serve here is fried to order, which ensures that we always get fresh and hot Vadas. Same with the fresh lime juice made to order and refreshingly fresh. After all the walking, everybody deserve a little treat here. The people who run this place are warm and welcoming and most importantly, this place is very hygienic inspite of being in an open space. Even during rush hours and crowds of people, everyone is served their orders on time and with a smile. About how to find this gem of a place from Aman Lodge station (towards Matheran station/market), follow the train track; after you pass the Beatrice Cliff (well known place for photography), you will reach here walking within few minutes. Walking near train tracks is the only way to get here because if one takes the horse/manual rickshaw then the route doesn't lead up to here because horse/rickshaw route and train tracks are two different routes to or from Matheran market Dasturi naka (car parking). For the visitors traveling via toy train, alight at Aman Lodge station and walk to this place to enjoy delicious food and beverages at Stop and Rest Point. Personally, a must stop for snacks destination of mine whenever I visit Matheran. Highly recommended because of authentic food and cleanliness level maintained here.
