After I left a tip — because I always do — I noticed there was a coper... read more For me, it was a total tourist trap. The pizza was average and arrived at our table cold. After I left a tip — because I always do — I noticed there was a coperto charge of €6 on the bill. Just to clarify, the coperto was listed as a service charge — no bread or anything else was included, and there was no mention of it anywhere on the menu. When I asked about it, some irritated lady started explaining that “this is how it works in Italy”… I really don’t mind paying, but I expect to actually receive the service I’m paying for.

It didn't create prob... read more Unique experience with the caves of Matera, food food on the pricey end. Enjoyed the vibe, but a bit slow and not super attentive service. It didn't create problems, just noticed that at times it took several attempts to get their attention also due to the layout of where our table was. Not a local place per sé, but overall represents well several types of foods from neighboring southern regions.

We ate o... read more Popular restaurant so we were happy we made reservations. They turned people away. We had pizza, salad, and wine. Enjoyed it all. Good people watching. We ate outside. No view but didn't expect one. They were very busy but we didn't feel ignored.
