My husband and I travel to San Miguel del Allende for the winter each year, and end up in Las Palmas every January and April. We stay there because of our 85# dog - many Mexican motels won't accept dogs. Las Palmas isn't fancy, but it's clean and quiet. It's located off the highway and feels safe, and the staff is always very friendly. Their restaurant, although a bit formal and expensive, is nice enough. All in all,... View all feedback.

We recently stayed here, once again on our trip to and from Lake Chapala. We had rooms in different sections. The room closest to the restaurant was the better one, and had internet, bit on the way home, we got one far back to the left, and there was no internet and not so nice. Both rooms are "tired" and in need of new carpeting, bedding, and paint. I failed to heed my own advice with regards to keeping close to the... View all feedback.
On the way through the city, I always think of a drink and lunch. The drinks are great and the food is always some of the best in this city.
We had dinner and breakfast here when you stay at the inn. Try the avocado and cactus spirout app delish! Her fish also enjoyed in Zilantro sauce and cooked child (Gat).
I've stayed in Las Palms several times both with and without my dog. It is a very comfortable and clean place, with a surprisingly acceptable dining room. It is also conveniently halfway between Chapala and Texas.

The staff is awesome, the restaurant still delivers good food. I 'd like to see a little invested in cleaning the place up a bit.
We had a very nice dinner here. Quite a good selection on international dishes. We had the Nopal salad, the shrimp entree and the beef entree. All were very nicely prepared. Our favorite was the Nopal salad....very yummy! Adequate wine selection too. Large restaurant with a nice view of the hotel grounds. Very upscale for this part of Mexico, but with super reasonable prices!
