Mediterranean Chateau - Matawan

So the Mediterranean Château I find it one of the better of the Portuguese places in our area we went there for a happy hour and got half-price pictures of sangria which I have to say the sangria was actually really good. The food usually good the food I have to say sometimes it is extremely good the service is usually very friendly and on point The restaurant at itself in the bar area is usually very clean and well kept the staff is usually on point with everything even the kids enjoy coming here for a meal definitely highly recommend it as one of the better Portuguese places in our area. Some of our favorite dishes would be the shrimp in garlic sauce the mix pichando I love the shrimp in the yellow rice and I usually get a side of garlic sauce with it my wife likes the chicken Dishes they offer ..They are usually very accommodating if like the swap one thing out for another they usually do help out and do that again I would definitely recommend this place over a lot of the other places in our area

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots for delicious and convenient meals. The food is incredibly flavorful, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly and excellent. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. You can choose to sit at a table near the bar to catch the games or enjoy a more formal yet comfortable dining experience in the main dining area.

The atmosphere is lovely, the service is outstanding, and the dishes are truly delicious. Highly recommended!

Service was superior, attentive, but not annoying and fast. Sangria is the best thing I saw in the area and the pitcher filled more glasses than I expected. Food was also very filling and good
