I went here for Christmas Eve eve happy hour with a bunch of buddies. Cool vibes but was surprised to see babies with families at a bar/brewery. Ordered a flight of 4 and all beers were good, then stuck with a beer that was good. Old fashioned was good, avoid the old fashioned on tap, sweet af. For appetizers, ordered the Thai chili wings 4/5, meatballs 3/5 and spinach artichoke Detroit style pizza 4/5. Pizza felt de... View all feedback.
What Lou Uffer doesn't like about Alternate Ending Beer Co.:
Pizza was good although a little weird. Not a great fan of Detroit style. Pizza was more crust than cheese and toppings. Beers were even more weird. Can these craft beer breweries serve at least a couple of normal beers and not just all these fruity crafty stuff? View all feedback.
Really liked the Detroit pizza. Kids got the chicken tenders and fries, but didnt like them....thought they were too burnt. California burger was also good.
Food is always fresh and high quality. Will continue to be a regular customer here. Have never eaten something I dont enjoy. The California Dreamin Burger, Gin and Jam, and pizzas are particular favorites. You cant go wrong.
When my son chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner, I was initially skeptical after looking at the menu—kale? Vegan? Gluten-free? But since it was his special day, I went along with it. I ordered the white pizza, and wow! It was incredible. Everyone at the table took a slice and raved about it. The crispy cheese on top paired with the ricotta and mascarpone in the middle was heavenly. The service was impeccable, too; they even brought out a birthday cake without us having to ask. We made sure to try the fried apple pie as well, and I’m so glad we did—it was delicious! No complaints whatsoever; everything was fantastic!
A must-visit! This family-friendly hidden gem is absolutely fantastic. I loved the atmosphere, the drinks, and the delicious food. A big thank you to Grayson for serving our table. We had a wonderful time at Alternative Ending Beer. I highly recommend their sourdough pizza and the IPA known as Chuckle Head!
We had previously picked up beer to go from this restaurant and wished we had time to sit down and eat because everything looked so delicious. Having already enjoyed Talula’s in Asbury Park, we decided to stop in for dinner and a beer or two during our recent visit to the area. Let me tell you, my initial cravings were absolutely justified. The food not only met my expectations but exceeded them. The sourdough bread was a standout and added something truly special to the meal. And the beer? Incredible! It reminded me of Other Half (which was also on the menu), and I've heard that one of the brewers previously worked there—though I haven't confirmed that yet. Regardless, it was excellent. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone in the area, and if you’re not local, it's definitely worth making a special trip.
