I really enjoyed this Thai restaurant bc I really appreciate authentic and strong flavors. You can literally smell the fish sauce coming out of the plates and that’s how I know it’s the real thing. The flavors are bold, not toned down, and I love that. Even small details like using chili flakes instead of just sriracha or chili in oil makes a difference for me. The panang curry was super rich, creamy and coconut y, peanut y and very comforting but still strong in flavor. My pad krapao was very flavorful and spicy (as I like it , and with rice it balances everything very nicely. Not bland at all. The pad thai was also very good, you can taste the tamarind sauce, that sweet and sour authentic taste that sometimes is missing in other places. I was also happy to learn they use fresh kefir lime leaf : you can really smell it in the dishes. For dessert we had the banana roll with ice cream and it was sooo good. Warm, crispy and sweet with the cold ice cream, great combo. The space is very nice, many windows and well lit. I like the plants inside, it gives tropical vibes…. The Thai decor details makes it feel cozy but still modern. The owners are so cool. We will come back for sure.

Lek’s thai serves amazing authentic thai cuisine! The service is really friendly and prices are reasonable. Very much recommend the fresh spring rolls! We were on holiday in Mataró for a week but had to eat here twice as it was so good!
Leks is a little gem of a Thai restaurant in Mataro. They served up a wonderful version of my favourite Thai meal: Pad Kaprao Gai. Just the right amount of heat (Very hot the way it should be! and the correct depth of flavours. The other dishes ordered were Red curry and Pad Thai, both of which were devoured and recommended. We all finished off with the classic Mango with coconut rice which was incredible. My only criticism is that I could have had two of these! Authentic cuisine by a Thai chef doing a great job. I love this restaurant. I am a Thai food lover, I was there for a month and came back in love with everything I ate. At that time I was living in Mataró and when I found this restaurant it was like going back to eat the massaman or pad thai from the places I visited. The waiters are great and any questions about the dishes are answered kindly. The cooks are spectacular. A good place to go for dinner as a couple or with friends.
