Beautiful cozy cafe...warm, nice and clean. Great coffee, perfectly cooked Eggs Bene and the best Seafood chowder I ever had!!!!
It was my first visit and wasn't too sure where the Cafe was located. I walked round from having parked at the front of Copthorne Hotel. The outdoor area with playground looked great for mums to meet up. My soy mochacino was delish. My only issue was how long it took for me to be served. Exceptionally long having to stand waiting when there is no line. I would suggest that the Cafe management look at this as taking orders and is the priority. I could have easily walked out as was the longest I've had to wait for my order to be taken. Better communication and organisation between staff duties would make the experience a 5 Star.
Cafe Solway is in the small town of Masterton, my home town and one of the places my Mum and I have lunch at when I’m in town. It’s a cozy little cafe next to a driving range which can provide an activity for before or after your meal/coffee. Coffee and food are yummy, with great presentation and the staff are attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going there again
Great food and great service from the friendly staff. Had great fun at the driving range.
Gets slow as numbers increase. Needs extra cook when numbers get larger over the lunch time. Took an hour for our meal to arrive
