Do you charge double for a Mochaccino because you added chocolate powder to the coffee? No. This is something we order in any other restaurant and it costs the price of a regular drink, as it should. Instead we were charged like a bartender made a cocktail. The pasta my wife ordered was delicious. Compliments to the chef on that one. Cucumber doesn't belong on a burger. Pickles sure, but not fresh cucumber. Didn't really enjoy my chicken burger because of it. Thats personal preference though. The chicken was cooked well though. No hair nets in the kitchen was surprising. Bathroom doors don't lock. It was a reasonable experience, but charging double for drinks really bought the experience down and really pissed me off. On what planet should a basic orange soda be charged like a whiskey and cola? I couldn't believe the woman serving us was being serious when she told the price. Would've rather got 2 separate drinks. :

But tonight I received an email to say my booking for Saturday was cancelled when I hadn’t cancelled it, rang the restaurant and asked what happened to my booking and got “oh sorry the chef has Covid and we aren’t open Saturday” heads up, communication with your customers would be great thanks. Was for a special occasion. Hoping if I decide to go back that it would be better communication with your customers. I totally understand Covid and everything but just wasn’t impressed about communication side of things….
