I went to this restaurant a few times. I must say the food is OK for a limited price. The best thing in that restaurant is the terrace. In fact during the summer you really can have a good time. One more and more serious drawback: The service becomes really poor. I see it year after year and it 's really a pity. Hoping it will come back to a standard level very soon. View all feedback.
What Petra Knecht doesn't like about Le Jardin d'Italie:
friendly welcome of the boss, good products, excellent pizza, cooked potatoes. but what a lamentable service, 2 hours for an entrance and a topped dish, waitresses survey the rooms without watching the guests. map of desserts in hand for 15 minutes. without a command. result the addition and desserts another day. a little professionalism in the service would change everything View all feedback.
Nice surprise, you wouldn't expect a garden restaurant behind the very unwelcoming façade of the house. Only a couple of guests, so service was fast and with a smile. The food was ok and plenty, but not extraordinary. We will go back.
The garden area makes for a wonderfully relaxing venue. It’s cool and the sound level is perfect. The food was generous, well prepared and well presented. Staff knowledgable and attentive. The chef is approachable and friendly as well. The overall experience was great and I’d return.
We visited in June, and we were surprised by the amazing service we received, they went the extra mile and also offered us some drinks!! And of course the food was amazing too. Definitely recommend:
Had a great meal here with friends. When we first arrived the waitress apologized to us that the Chef was not in yet, so we would have a bit of a wait. He arrived a few minutes later and did a great job getting our food out to us very quickly. Great pasta and veal.
All sorts of pasta, pizza and grilled food in a cozy atmosphere at a very good price. Outdoor seating available in the rear garden.
