The whole inn is very clean, I can't write a negative, since there was never something negative. The price-performance ratio should be described as very good. The previous services are very friendly and nice. For hikers, this area is a single dream to combine with a good meal, unique. The journey through the Thuringian Forest is a dream anyway. However, we repeatedly point out that Germany is a very beautiful country. For example, we like to drive from Cologne to Bamberg to the left Rhine via land roads, fantastic. We followed the recommendations here on Yelp and did not regret it. Beautiful atmosphere, very personal care by the boss, eating well and plentiful. Result: a happy family! We recommend the Wiener Schnitzel, the Thüringer Rostbratsl, the Thüringer Wurst and the salad with fried meat strips. Conclusion: If you are looking for fresh, hearty food at a comparatively reasonable price, it is here!

Staff came in the same years as the economy. The reception is friendly, but the service is somewhat unorganized. The map is clear, but it speaks for fresh preparation. The price structure has a superior quality, but is rather rustic. The portions are unfortunately somewhat homeopathic, which one notices that my wife managed to do it without problems. After an anger, I had a part of sulphite with roast potatoes, but they are forgiven. My wife had a peasant breakfast, which was very good, but even she had only been saturated conditionally. If you want to take a three-way menu, you can risk it without problems, and then you will certainly be tired. Tasteful and craftsmanship, the food is fresh and tidy, but nothing special. A cozy evening to two is difficult here, as the guest room is very loud. Conclusion: Solid rustic home kitchen, high price
