We visited this place as we were staying in Camaiore with some friends from London and wanted them to try genuine, authentic Tuscan food. We chose if for its hillside, quiet location and I can only say it was a perfect choice. Every dish tells you of the passion that goes into its preparation. Everthing from cured meats to crespelle, hand made porcini pasta, wild pig stew and cod with chickpeas... every single dish was an explosion of flavours, figs tiramisù simply out of this world. Fairly priced given the quality and portions, better go on an empty belly. Couldn't reccomend more, would give stars if possible.

First of all, the staff was very warm and friendly, then, the food was AMAZING! traditional tasty food, all made with local ingredients and the most important, home made taste, and superior. Was a wonderful dinner and I'm glad of being at this place discovering and enjoying the dishes. Definitely a place to visit again because now it's one of my favorites!
Had a super lunch here on the first day of our holiday and we’re really happy with the meal. Simply wonderful Tuscan cooking. My wife is gluten free and they were very accommodating to make pasta for her. There’s a lady sitting out the back making pasta. The location is great and the service was friendly and attentive. We were recommended two really good local wines which we really enjoyed.
Used to be a fairly enjoyable place. Popularity means it has become overcrowded, over priced and quality of service and food lowered hugely. Apart from the owner, staff was mostly inexperienced and unprofessional young kids who could not attend the tables and orders properly. Food was served randomly and at different times to us. We arrived at 8PM, we were served the “primo piatto” (after the appetizer at 9:30. This was served first to me (extremely salty “maccheroni ai funghi porcini”, which I could not eat , then after 10 minutes two further meals arrived, followed by the third one another 10 minutes later. in general, the food was extremely salty; so you get really thirsty soon; they only have small bottles of water (600 Cc of which you don’t know the price. In all we were charged 120 euros for appetizer for three, four “primo piatto”, three bottles of water (600 cc three glasses of water each… and half a liter of wine. Add dessert and coffee and you will exceed 40 euros per person. You don’t know the price of the various option in advance, as there is no printed menu or if there is you probably need to ask. My recommendation is to avoid.
Friends told me about this place, it is a hidden gem. Great food, great service, great value. Go there as soon as you can!
