I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food and service are absolutely fantastic. The chef truly has a remarkable palate; it's a delight to experience such culinary artistry. The server is knowledgeable about both the wines and the menu. This place is on its way to becoming a Michelin 5-star restaurant. Be sure to visit before it gains widespread popularity. P.S. The gluten-free options are delicious!
I visited on the opening night of their new menu and had a steak shoulder-tenderloin dish that was outstanding. The next day, I came back for a halibut entrée that was even better. My friend ordered a special that was the best of the three dishes. This has become our new favorite spot on Nantucket!
Sometimes you forget what good customer service is until you actually get it. I mean it's Nantucket there aren't really too many bad restaurants but it was a refreshing change just for the little gestures like a cold glass of water without having to ask for it. The wine was great, and the dessert to die for.
I arrived after the restaurant had closed to at least have a glass of wine. As a charter pilot I don't control my schedule and quite often go to bed with out dinner. The chef prepared me a fantastic clam harissa. It was wonderful. When you come to Nantucket you must stop here for the ambiance and a very friendly professional staff.
I really enjoyed the cozy, rustic-chic decor! I ordered a margarita, and both it and the burger station were great. There were so many tempting options on the menu, and everything looked and smelled amazing, making it hard to choose. The roasted chicken steam appetizer was also delicious. My only suggestion is that the lighting on the second floor was a bit dim, which made it difficult to see the other women at my table, as there were 11 of us.
