Casey's - Mason City

I couldn't ask for a better rural bodega. They have an impressive selection of dry goods and delicious hot pizza served on a little turntable, along with decent coffee. The staff always treats me with dignity, respect, and kindness. It's a great spot to escape the weather and pick up some essentials.

This is a pretty busy 24 hour location. Very courteous, nice, and efficient employees regardless of the time of day. Most of the time the slices of pizza are fairly fresh and always good when that way. A handful of times it is past the time it should have been pulled out. Hard dried edges of crust and the cheese is hard along the edges as well. Depending on employee working the kitchen overnight is when I have found the pizza like that. To their credit, when they have the busier overnights with extra special or just an above average order night, it isn't always easy keeping up. The duties that require everything that needs to be done for prep for next day and cleaning can make it difficult. Their selection of products is pretty good as well. Bathroom is clean too. The Casey's Rewards card is a nice bonus for saving money on gas, catching a free item almost monthly, or using points for Casey's cash to use for yourself or for an area school of your choice. Highly recommend this Casey's General Store. Thanks to every employee.
