Intrigued, we looked at the menu and saw that allergens were marked on each dish, with the word "vegan" prominently used. The restaurant had a cozy interior with a few terrace seats overlooking the water. When I inquired about the vegan desserts, the waiter brought out all four options for me to see: lemon poppy, a mousse cake, hazelnut chocolate cake, and coconut cake. We decided to try all four for our group of seven, as it's always nice to find desserts that meet everyone's needs. The desserts were a bit bland due to being sugar-free, but still delicious. The hazelnut chocolate cake was particularly rich and tasty, and everyone had their own favorite. The total cost for all four desserts was 180 Croatian kuna, which was a bit pricey for the small portions but worth it for the unique desserts, especially in a small town in Croatia known for its truffles.
Unfortunately, I visited this place only to find out that they do not offer any vegan dishes.
We stumbled upon this restaurant with a sign advertising sugar-free vegan desserts. Intrigued, we decided to check out the menu which conveniently labeled allergens for each dish and proudly used the word vegan. The restaurant had a cozy indoor seating area and a lovely patio by the water. When I inquired about the vegan dessert options, the waiter kindly brought out all 4 choices for me to examine. The desserts included lemon poppyseed, a mousse cake, hazelnut chocolate cake, and coconut cake. We ended up getting all 4 desserts to share with our group of 7, catering to everyone's dietary needs. Each dessert had a delicious date crust at the bottom and, being sugar-free, they were slightly less sweet but still incredibly tasty. The hazelnut chocolate cake was a standout, although everyone had their own favorite. The total cost for 4 desserts was 180 Croatian dollars, a bit expensive for the portion sizes but worth it for such unique and delectable treats, especially in a small town in Croatia known for its truffles.
I visited this restaurant, but there were no vegan choices available.
