What User doesn't like about The Club At New Seabury’s Popponesset Inn:
Poor overall. Server was nice but hardly ever checked on us. Waited an hour for our meals which were cold when they arrived. Food itself was meh. A very small portion of salad and white rice plain as sides. Overpriced, poor service, low quality food. A great venue but we won't be back. View all feedback.
We were in town for a funeral. The luncheon was here. Nicely done by them. The buffet was really good. Thank you!

The scenery was spectacular and the food was good. Unfortunately, our main meal arrived prior to the salads we hoped to eat first. I will give the service people a break. I think they are unexperienced and will work out their routine in the next two weeks.

Attended a Mother's Day brunch. While a buffet is a tough serving option to maintain food quality, a few thing stood out. The omelet station and carving station were really good. There was an excellent tortellini dish, as well, and it's always good to have berries available. However, the croissants were not very good. The spinach croissants would have been better if they were warm, but in general the breakfast pastries were sub-par. The shrimp on the raw bar were seriously overcooked. We didn't try many of the items in chafing dishes because they tend to get overcooked. We missed the slab bacon from last year, that was excellent. Desserts were good overall; the cupcakes with piped flowers were works of art. The flourless chocolate and the fruit tarts were delicious. Carrot cake little sweet for our taste. This is a beautiful venue with a cute, cape cod feel to it. Tables overlook the beach on Nantucket sound and it's lovely.
