Phenomenal mulberry granita (GELSI) to be had with whipped cream “over and under”. (Panna montata sopra e sotto). Well worth taking a detour (Puntalazzo is up amount Etna, well off the beaten path). You also get a beautiful view for the same price. If you’re visiting in early July you will be fortunate enough to eat Granita Di GELSI BIANCHI (White mulberries): a rarity that last for no longer than 20 days and cannot be found elsewhere.

We were hot and tired after cycling up to Puntalazzo in the sun but the delicious granita was well worth it! They have a great selection of flavours and they tasted so good that I had to have two of them! The first was white mulberries and toasted almond granita topped with cream and of course a brioche! The second was hazelnut and pistachio granita. Both yummy! Very friendly service too. We'll be back :

Un bar che ti riporta indietro negli anni, lasciato forse così di proposito, un po' trascurato, ma di certo il cibo ne vale la pena, ottimi i gelati, buone le siciliane, il servizio poco presente. Situato in una stradina, non offre molte comodità in macchina, né ai disabili, a ridosso su una piazzetta, offre svago per bimbi e pet.

Mi trovo benissimo,ogni volta che vado là trovo cortesia, disponibilità e allegria. La siciliana, la pasticceria,le granite, i gelati e i biscotti sono di grande qualità. Invito a provare assolutamente. Non lo cambierei per niente.

Ottimo bar ottima pasticceria tutto fatto artigianalmente l'unica cosa che potrei consigliare un po' di velocità nel servizio
