Jake's Place - Maryville

What a fantastic diner with a charming 1950s vibe! It's spotless and offers delicious old-fashioned cooking. The service is quick and friendly, and the meals are of high quality and full of flavor. The ribs were enormous and incredibly tender. The fried pollock was light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Plus, the roasted okra and pinto beans reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. We are definitely planning to return on our future trips, and we're so glad we discovered this gem along our route! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The waitress, Megan, assured me that I would leave feeling completely satisfied, and she was absolutely right! I left feeling full and happy, with leftovers in a box. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take any pictures. The prices were incredible too. I had the fried land steak, a baked potato, roasted okra, a side salad, and roasted green tomatoes; everything was fantastic. Jake's place really delivers on even the pickiest of tastes. I'll definitely be back!

I had my first experience at this restaurant, and I was not disappointed! It's a lovely, clean establishment with a charming rural vibe. The food was incredibly tasty, and the server was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcomed. I will definitely return when I'm back in the area!

Just a small place on the side of the street, Smell of the smokehouse as you move...was delicious!. Girls were very nice, greeted us all of them with smile... Order was hot and in 9 min... Had sweat tea while we waited... excellent!... 2 dinner fed 4 people and a toddler... (Rib Dinner) very cheap. I tried fried yellow squash for the first time., I found a few pieces of the dough was still wet, but what was done was really good... I think a little more Mac n cheese in one order would be nice, BUT overall... loved it! I said the girls were super nice! KINDNESS MATTERS... especially in today's world... thank you! Of course.. I'll eat here again if I'm going through next time!

The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely incredible. I had the fish sandwich and fries. The sandwich was an entire catfish filet. It was huge. I count finish the entire meal. It was that huge. Good food, fair prices and great service. It won't ever get any better!
