Went for lunch and tasting with my girlfriends one afternoon. Lovely view off their back patio and a good selection of wine. Two of us order wine flights, the other a cocktail. They also offered wine slushies. The owner was around and very knowledgeable. Wait staff will bring out food ordered at the bar and take away dirty plates, but you can only order at the bar at the front. View all feedback.
What Rebecca Molitor doesn't like about Bella Vista Winery:
Staff were delightful, beautiful place, serene environment. Love the welcoming of dogs there. Food was fine, wine was good. The peace, love and wine shirts decked with 'don 't tread on me snake next to the bar were just too much. Out of place for the atmosphere appearing to create (but maybe that is the atmosphere desired, I 'm not sure). It took away from an afternoon I hoped would be relaxing and an escape from hea... Edit: I wasn’t expecting a refund. We did eat about half the board (which was only salami and grapes for 22 bucks) It was more about the interaction w management. We have been here in the past but this was the worst interaction. We live close but do not plan to come back. If you think your going to a winery for the experience..don’t go here! Went to the winery on a Sunday afternoon. Purchased two bottles of wine and a charcuterie board. What we got was a small plate of greasy salami, some grapes, 6 pieces of bread and Brie cheese that was warm and melting when we got it. We got this same thing a few months ago and it was amazing. Now for 22.00 it’s a joke. When I told the manager that I was disappointed in the board she was not helpful to say the least. She told me they didn’t have the boards in the past and I was wrong even though this pic is what we got a few months ago. What a joke

EDIT: Wow, now you not only give your standard reviewer comment. But you basically call me a liar!!!!!! There were only two tables including us!!! 4 people total in the entire place. You don’t remember talking to me, telling me, not asking, to go to the other side. While the bartender who has zero problems is already refilling my glass!!! That there was a reception later!!!!! If it wasn’t you then it was the female manager. There was only ONE lady there in charge!!!! This again is why you will fail. Take responsibility, apologize and and try to improve!! You should not be in the industry. No one that knows me after seeing your response will come ! Understaffed ???!!!!! There was two tables!!!!! Inexcusable excuses!!! Peace This is my first review I’ve ever written. Coming from the industry, I understand mistakes and rough days. We went Saturday afternoon. Around noon. Only table there until one more arrived later. Menu was small. No real choices. Apparently had just been changed. You had to order at the bar. No table service. Went to the patio. No check back for refills on drinks etc. Went to the bar to get a refill. Side note, bartender was great and very friendly! . The owner was inside and just rude and unfriendly. Told me to go around to the other side of the bar as they had a reception later. Ok.. understand. Then you should’ve had my waiter, who only delivered food check back and do refills. The bartender was already refilling my glass. Turned around to leave. The only option was to go the way I came. And again was hardly told like I was a child, not to go that way. My basil pizza with chicken was dripping with olive oil. Soggy and just not good. My husbands smash burger and fries however was great. I told her when we left I would never be back. We are excellent pays and tippers. She was extremely unprofessional and rude! I see after reading the reviews that she always comments back with the same responses! Never are they at fault. You will never succeed with this attitude!!! Also you should work in the grounds along with your poor attitude. They were horrible looking. So peace to you. Will spread the word about your establishment. Do not recommend!!!!
I visited Bella Vista for the first time a few months ago and was surprised by the changes. The menu had taken a big step forward and the wines were greatly improved. I enjoyed the experience so much that when I needed a venue for a family gathering we went there. The bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly and ensured everyone was taken care of and the GM was equally attentive. The Pesto Flatbread is absolutely delicious and I love the freshness and quality of their ingredients. I highly recommend visiting this regional winery. It is the perfect spot whether you want a casual spot to relax or a venue for an event. You will not be disappointed.
