my friends i had the best experience here!! we were greeted warmly by the staff at the front, they let us know that we would order there at the counter and then have it brought to our tables because they are short-staffed. even though it was a rainy day, we still sat outside and were completely dry thanks to the awning : the view was beautiful and the live music was awesome!! food was DELICIOUS and came out very quic... What Linda Aldrich doesn't like about Bella Vista Winery:
This winery had so much potential when it first opened. The previous owner was much more friendly. Had many more events, it has went downhill every since. Very very rude will never go back. Very close to home so it?s a shame. Will drive to Missouri where you are treated with respect. Had a going away get together for a long time police officer, our group ended up elsewhere needless to say, what a shame and no respect... View all feedback.
This place is really nice on the inside, very well planned cared for. Multiple areas for seating choices when dinning in or drinking a bottle of wine. The tasting bar is just inside the door conveniently located for all guests. We enjoyed a great conversation while tasting, and were invited back for lunch with music on the 4th. Left with a wonderful bottle of 2nd Amendment Right (their version of a resiling). Looking forward to making some blackened salmon and steamed asparagus to enjoy with this bottle!
Farm to glass wines. From scratch cooking. Truly a unique Midwest destination location.

Magnificent view, great wine, solid service and good food. They had live music on Sunday afternoon, and we had a tremendous time just relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. Really good selection of wines, including some unique sweeter wines made from blueberries, blackberries, apples and strawberries (not too sweet?truly delicious). They also have some real good dry wines as well from interesting varietals (Vidal blanc, Chardonel, Seyval, Chambourcin). Ignore the bad reviews and see for yourself?seems like some huge groups that arrived without a reservation were disappointed with not getting the very best service when the winery wasn?t ready for a huge group with no notice. It?s a fantastic midwestern winery, not a Michelin star restaurant... have appropriate expectations. Go for a wonderful relaxing time, and enjoy this local treasure for all it has to offer. We absolutely loved it and we?ll be back.
