We live in Seattle and go to this bakery about once a month. The atmosphere is a throw back to the 60's, the bakery goods are scrumptious. We went there today and you know what? The customers are kind. It made me wonder . . . are all folks from Marysville so pleasant? View all feedback.
What J H doesn't like about Oosterwyk’s Dutch Bakery:
So much potential but just a consistent let down. Covid was hard on this place but after they remained low on inventory, hi priced and soup drill sergeant style customer service. View all feedback.
Just went in for my first time after the Marysville farmers market. Very rude and terrible customer service
Went in the other day for first time, and LAWD was an inconvenience to owner for buying a Danish. It was only one pastry and I hand her a $20, she asks if I have anything smaller and I said I didn't. She sighs and rolls her eyes. I tell her I have a card, she said no bc it's $6 min. I said okay that's fine I can grab one or two more, my husband will like them. She ignores me. And I say again, I could get another one or two pastries.....she cuts me off by counting my change to me and says, I don't have any $5s or $10...gives me a handful of $1's and shoos me out the door. What?!I was literally trying to buy more pastries and now idk if I'll go back.

Delicious pastries! We absolutely loved the cinnamon roles and monkey bread. We'll be making this our regular pastry shop from now on.
Great swedish rye bread small town feel and awesome maple bars
