Booked the Golf Club yesterday for 14 of us as family were visiting from away. Rang up less than 30 mins before our booking to ask if we could add 3 more places and was happy that this was not a problem. The food was lovely, service was brilliant considering how many of us there were. My husbands quite fussy but said the roast potatoes were the best he has ever had ???? Great little golf club with amazing views out across the Solway Firth and back inland towards the Lakes. Very friendly reception from members
Played end of may really enjoyed it so drove 2 1/2 hours to play again first week in July, greens and the course was in fantastic condition, views are stunning, the staff are so nice and welcoming and the food was gorgeous ,had a great day definitey be back again
Great views and course to play golf. Course was in good condition even when we played it in early October which was very wet and windy. Chris the guy in kitchen was very helpfull and welcoming will definantly come back to play course again probably in the summer.
We've eaten here both yesterday and today. A lovely curry yesterday and lovely Sunday lunch today. Would highly recommend it.
Called here whilst out walking for some liquid refreshments and couldn't resist the smell of food, ordered 2 main meals from the Sunday menu, Steak and Guinness pie and Cumberland sausage both excellent but best were the proper chips made with real potatoes and deep fried, absolutely divine
